Scotmid has a new charity challenge for 2011/2012 – to raise £120,000 for The Prince’s Trust. The money raised will be used to positively transform the lives of 1,200 disadvantaged young people in Scotland, and also in Northern Ireland and the north east of England.
Scotmid is a Co-operative Society, a business that it is owned and operated by a membership and every member is entitled and encouraged to play a part.
Scotmid has successfully completed the integration of Botterills Convenience Stores which it acquired in November 2010.

The Cabinet Secretary for Health & Wellbeing, Nicola Sturgeon, met Semichem staff in Kirkcaldy, the first store to be equipped with a public access defibrillator in a unique partnership between the Scottish Ambulance Service and Scotmid.
